Elaborating this, Geelani said that in Jammu region only 5 lakh Muslims were massacred by Patiala army, Dogra army and Jan Sang just to change the demography of the area. Their property, houses, land and business was snatched from them and those who escaped this wrath were pushed to Pakistan. The tallest leader of Jammu and Kashmir at that time was mesmerized by the glory and lust of power to the extent that he didn’t even condemn this barbaric and heinous act. The collaborator classes which was at that time not moved by such a great human disaster, how can their off springs today get shaken by death of mere hundreds of people. Their long and strong worded statements lashing out and showing concern for Muslims of Jammu today, is nothing but their wicked and sinful acts of deceit and deception to hoodwink and hush up their own tragic record of insensitivity towards the oppressed people. Pro-freedom leader said that majority in Jammu province, especially fanatic Hindus have their own police, army, bureaucracy, government of their side to oppress Muslims. He said that in addition to this, 30,000 VDC’s are always a supplementary force to hunt the poor Muslims and they never tolerate their presence. Hurriyat (G) chairman said that these rallies in the streets of the Jammu province and their provocative slogans is nothing but to fume the flames of hatred and creating a volatile atmosphere to prove their muscular might. He said that local stooges have always been used as pawns by the Indian rulers to deprive Muslims of their identity, culture, economy and collectivity, so that they are left to live at their mercy. Pro-resistance leader said that this enslaved nation has been the worst sufferer of this statecraft genocide since 1947 and for the last 27 years this turf of brutality has been sharpened to the maximum, leading to scores of graveyards, countless massacres, thousands of gutter localities, rapes & molested womenfolk and this tyranny seems to have no end. They have tried every repressive measure in their armory and even today for the last 92 days the valley is doused in the blood and anybody raising voice against this barbarism is strangulated and put behind bars. Geelani further said that slaughtered, innocents, maimed and the death and destruction of whole valley is more than sufficient to shake the strongest of the hearts of any autocrat–, but our breed of henchmen is made of such a stuff that nothing, neither the death nor the devastation and not even wiping out of the whole generation can mould their iron hearts, thereby testifying their inheritance to their forefathers.
